This year’s LŠVT will be held from May 27 to 30 in Biskupský pivovar in Litoměřice at the foot of the České středohoří. This time we will deal with topics that can be summed up in the title:

“Processes in Plasma and Ionized Media – Properties, Diagnostics and Applications”

Detailed information about the summer school will be gradually published on this website. This year, the summer school will be held in English for the first time and is therefore also suitable for foreign language participants – students and doctoral students or academic and company workers.

21. International Summer School

21st IUVSTA Summer School on Physics at Nanoscale will take place from 3rd to 7th June 2024 at Skalský Dvůr, Czech Republic.

The schools aims at presenting current trends of research at both tutorial as well as state-of-the-art level. The school will also connect the fundamental research to the vital areas of technology: nano-electronics, photonics and renewable energy.

EVC17-ECOSS37

This year, the European Vacuum Conference EVC17-ECOSS37 is taking place at the Harrogate Convention Center in Great Britain on June 17 – 21, 2024. Download the invitation here.

JVC 19

The JVC19 conference, which CVS is co-organizing, will be held from September 29 to October 4, 2024 at the Meridien Lav hotel near Split, Croatia. ČVS plans to support the active participation of students in this conference. Download the first announcement here.

The Czech Vacuum Society invites all interested parties to the traditional 33rd international meeting of users and manufacturers of vacuum technology PRAGOVAC 2024. As usual, the meeting will be attended by representatives of Czech and foreign companies, members of the Czech Vacuum Society, as well as a number of leading experts, scientists and technicians in the field of vacuum techniques.

PRAGOVAC 2024 will be held on Wednesday 13 November 2024 in the new building SOLID 21 of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Republic, Pod vodárenská veží 2531/3, Prague 8. Admission is free, free refreshments will be provided for participants. Registration for the event will be launched during October.
